Job Description

Position: Salesforce Data Cloud Developer

Relevant Experience: 5 Years+

Salary: Nego

Location: Hyderabad/ Noida / Bangalore / Remote

A certified Salesforce Data Cloud & Marketing Cloud Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience. This role is essential for implementing and optimizing data-driven campaign execution. The developer will use Salesforce Data Cloud to unify customer data which will be used to orchestrate customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and develop Salesforce Data Cloud solutions: Implement and manage data ingestion, transformation, and activation processes within Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Salesforce CDP).
Build and manage data pipelines: Ensure integration between Data Cloud and other Salesforce clouds (especially Marketing Cloud) and external systems using data integration techniques.
Develop data models and identity resolution: Design and implement data models, identity resolution strategies, and harmonization techniques to create a unified customer profile in Data Cloud.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud configurations, automation, and data synchronization.
Ensure data governance and security: Adhere to data governance policies, best practices, and industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA if in pharma).
Stay current with technologies: Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud enhancements, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

5+ Years of Hands-on Salesforce Development Experience: Proven experience in Salesforce development, including Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP).
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise (Optional): Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
Relevant Salesforce Certification: Hold at least one Salesforce certification relevant to development or administration, such as Salesforce Platform Developer or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer.
Data Integration Experience: Experience with ETL tools, data transformation, and cloud-based data platforms like Azure.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in APEX, SOQL, SQL, and data query languages.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Experience in a Large Organization: Experience working within the complexities of a large-scale organization.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good to have:

Pharma Industry Experience: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GxP).
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification: Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification or equivalent.
Additional Salesforce Certifications: Other relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant).
Agile/Scrum Experience: Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
