CPQ Developer

P osition Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce C P Q Develo p er to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over three years of hands-on ex p erience with Salesforce SteelBrick C P Q , a dee p understanding of advanced C P Q tools and configurations, and a strong background in Salesforce core develo p ment . This role involves designing, im p lementing, and o p timizing C P Q and Sales Cloud solutions to streamline p rocesses and enhance business p erformance.

Key Res p onsibilities

Salesforce C P Q Ex p ertise:

Hands-on configuration and o p timization of Salesforce SteelBrick C P Q , including:

P roduct Rules, P rice Rules, P ricing Waterfall , and Custom Actions .

Advanced C P Q p rocesses such as A p p rovals, Renewals, and Amendments .

Design and manage Quote Document Tem p lates tailored to business needs.

Develo p and o p timize custom scri p ts using QC P (Quote Calculator P lugin) for advanced C P Q functionality.

Salesforce Develo p ment:

Build scalable and efficient solutions using A p ex Classes , Triggers , and Batch A p ex .

Design and im p lement robust user interfaces with Lightning Web Com p onents (LWC) .

Leverage Visualforce and declarative tools for customizations where required .

Data and Metadata Management:

Understand, configure, and de p loy C P Q data and metadata effectively across environments.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within Salesforce.

Sales Cloud and Integration:

Configure and enhance Sales Cloud features , including O p p ortunity Management, Lead Conversion, and Re p orting.

Integrate Salesforce C P Q with external systems using A P Is and middleware tools like MuleSoft.

Collaborate with the team to build and maintain custom integrations between C P Q and ER P /CRM systems.

O p timization and Maintenance:

Troubleshoot and resolve C P Q -related issues to ensure seamless o p erations.

Continuously o p timize existing C P Q configurations for im p roved p erformance and user ex p erience.

Leadershi p and Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely p roject delivery.

P rovide mentorshi p to junior develo p ers and establish C P Q best p ractices within the team.

Qualifications and Ex p erience

3+ years of hands-on ex p erience with Salesforce SteelBrick C P Q .

P roven ex p ertise in C P Q functionalities:

P roduct Rules, P rice Rules, P ricing Waterfall, Custom Actions , and other C P Q tools.

Advanced C P Q p rocesses, including A p p rovals, Renewals, and Amendments .

P roficiency in creating and managing Quote Document Tem p lates .

Ex p ertise in custom scri p ting with QC P (Quote Calculator P lugin) .

Strong Salesforce core develo p ment skills:

A p ex Classes , Triggers , and Batch p rocesses.

Lightning Web Com p onents (LWC) and Visualforce develo p ment.

In-de p th understanding of Salesforce C P Q data and metadata de p loyment .

Ex p erience with Sales Cloud features and their integration with C P Q .

Familiarity with integration tools and A P I management .

P referred Skills

Salesforce certifications: C P Q S p ecialist , Salesforce P latform Develo p er I/II , or Salesforce Administrator .

Knowledge of CI/CD p i p elines for de p loyment and version control.

Strong p roblem-solving skills with the ability to handle com p lex configurations.

Ex p erience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
