Job Description

SF Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities


  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Salesforce solutions.

  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, admins, and architects to design scalable and effective solutions.

  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and user story creation for Salesforce projects.

  • Create and maintain business process flows, wireframes, use cases, and user stories in Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for Salesforce improvements or new functionalities.

  • Support data migration, system integration, and UAT activities.

  • Assist in change management, training, and adoption of Salesforce solutions across teams.

  • Develop test cases, support system testing, and validate that solutions meet business needs.

  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to Salesforce applications.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 4 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 3 years working specifically on Salesforce projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud (experience with multiple clouds preferred).

  • Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project delivery frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and configuration capabilities.

  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification.

  • Experience with third-party Salesforce integrations and AppExchange apps.

  • Exposure to CPQ, Field Service, or Experience Cloud is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of business processes in Sales, Service, or Marketing domains.
