Salesforce Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create test cases and automation scripts.
• Design and build scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using 

  Selenium with Java and Cucumber (BDD)

  .
• Automate regression, smoke, and integration test suites for Salesforce modules including Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and Apex logic.
• Perform API testing for Salesforce REST/SOAP endpoints and validate third-party integrations.
• Maintain automated test scripts for continuous regression coverage across multiple releases.
• Integrate automated tests with 

  CI/CD pipelines

   using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
• Document and report defects, track issues, and participate in root cause analysis.
• Work closely with QA, Developers, Product Owners, and Admins to ensure overall test coverage and product quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in QA, with 

  5+ years in test automation

   using Selenium and Java.
• Solid knowledge and experience in 

  Cucumber (BDD)

   frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with 

  Salesforce testing

   including Lightning components, Apex classes, triggers, workflows, and validation rules.
• Strong knowledge of 

  Java programming

   and OOPs concepts.
• Experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Working knowledge of 

  Salesforce data model, SOQL, and APIs

• Experience in 

  API testing

   using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Version control experience with Git/Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., 

  Salesforce Administrator

  , 

  Platform Developer I

  ) are a plus.
• Experience testing 

  Salesforce integrations

   with tools like MuleSoft, ServiceNow, or third-party systems.
• Exposure to cloud testing environments and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (nice to have).
