Job Description


Role Overview

This role leads end-to-end Salesforce analytics initiatives focused on the Sales Cloud using CRM Analytics (CRMA, formerly Tableau CRM/Einstein Analytics). You will design and deliver interactive dashboards, datasets, and dataflows that provide actionable sales insights. The position requires strong SQL skills on large datasets, advanced Google Sheets analysis, and deep knowledge of Salesforce sales processes, reports, and dashboards. You will work directly with business owners to turn requirements into analytics solutions, manage scope and delivery, and mentor an analytics/development team.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall experience, including 7+ years in BI/Analytics roles
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) for building interactive dashboards, datasets, and dataflows/recipes
  • Strong SQL proficiency working with large datasets (joins, aggregations, window functions, performance tuning)
  • Advanced Google Sheets skills using XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS and related formulas
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud domain: standard objects (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts), standard reports/dashboards, pipeline and sales processes
  • Proven experience managing scope and driving project completion with clients/stakeholders
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into KPIs, data models, and dashboards
  • Experience managing/mentoring a development/analytics team
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce analytics initiatives from discovery to deployment and adoption
  • Design, build, and optimize CRMA dashboards, lenses, datasets, and dataflows/recipes with filters, bindings, and drill-downs
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data preparation, transformation, and analysis on large datasets
  • Translate business requirements into KPIs, data models, and dashboard storyboards aligned to Sales Cloud processes
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and row-level security that aligns with Salesforce sharing rules in CRMA
  • Engage with business owners, manage scope and timelines, and present insights and recommendations
  • Mentor and guide a small analytics/development team; conduct reviews and enforce best practices
  • Perform quick operational analyses in Google Sheets using advanced formulas; create and maintain supporting reports
  • Collaborate with data/ETL teams or leverage data warehousing concepts when needed
  • Document solutions, provide user training, and support rollout and adoption
