Sales & Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Service Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and validate laboratory instruments at customer sites. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; coordinate repairs and replacements. Provide technical support and training to end users on equipment operation and maintenance. Maintain service records and prepare service reports. Sales Responsibilities Identify potential customers in assigned territory/segment. Promote and demonstrate lab equipment to researchers, lab managers, and procurement officers. Prepare quotations, respond to tenders, and follow up on leads and opportunities. Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue. Maintain CRM records and regularly update customer interaction logs.. Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to the product and marketing teams. Key Requirements Education Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation) or Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, etc.). Experience 2 - 9 years in sales or service of lab equipment and ability to understand the lab workflow. Skills Strong technical aptitude for understanding and explaining lab instrumentation. Excellent verbal and written communication. Good organizational and time-management skills. Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel frequently.
