Roles We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Officer to expand our footprint in assigned territories. The role requires building and managing a strong distributor network, onboarding and training retail sales representatives, and driving primary and secondary sales. Key Responsibilities: Distributor Appointment & Management: Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors in the assigned territory to ensure product availability and efficient coverage. Retail Expansion: Drive retail penetration by appointing and training sales representatives (DSRs/PSRs) and supporting them in meeting daily/weekly sales targets. Sales Execution: Achieve monthly sales targets through a combination of primary sales (to distributors) and secondary sales (via retail outlets). Market Coverage: Plan and execute beat plans to ensure regular market visits and coverage of retail points across the territory. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with channel partners and retailers, addressing their concerns and ensuring timely product supply. Reporting & MIS: Provide timely updates on distributor performance, market trends, competitor activity, and daily sales data. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 3 years of sales experience in FMCG, beverages, or similar industry Proven experience in appointing distributors and managing retail sales Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in target-driven environments Graduation in any stream (MBA is a plus but not mandatory) Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory What We Offer: Competitive salary and incentives Career growth opportunities in a rapidly scaling startup Performance-based recognition and rewards An entrepreneurial, ownership-driven work culture
