Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, engaging potential clients, presenting customized solar energy solutions, and closing sales. You will play a key role in promoting clean energy and helping customers reduce their energy costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct site assessments and understand client energy needs.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with residential or commercial clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and solar technology.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Input all client interactions and sales activities into the CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in solar panel or renewable energy sales.
  • Understanding of local/state government incentives for solar adoption.
  • Technical knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if field-based role).
