Sales Manager - Outdoor Catering

As the Catering Sales Manager at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel, your role will involve contracting and closing local catering and social business deals to ensure timely and quality service delivery. You will be responsible for achieving catering revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity and implementing the brand's service strategy throughout the sales process. Your focus will be on driving customer loyalty through service excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage sales efforts for the hotel including local corporate and social catering. - Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated sales efforts. - Respond to incoming catering opportunities and solicit new catering business. - Identify market trends and competitors to strategically sell against them. - Close business opportunities based on market conditions and hotel needs. - Negotiate contracts and design creative catered events to maximize revenue. - Manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, providing forecasting reports. - Develop menus that drive sales and support the operational aspects of booked business. - Interact effectively with various stakeholders to ensure guest satisfaction. - Execute exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Develop a close working relationship with operations to ensure strategy execution. **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related field; OR - 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with no work experience required.
