Job Description

The core responsibility of the Healthcare Assurance Sales Manager in India is to start and develop the Healthcare Assurance business in India . This will involve building strong relationships, developing strategic plans, and driving growth within the Indian market and for global Indian accounts. Core Responsibilities Relationship Building: Develop relationships with Indian APIs manufacturers to promote Eurofins and organize shared audits of their manufacturing sites. Business Development & Strategy: Develop business plans and strategies to attract clients to adopt our portfolio of Healthcare Assurance Services. Work with the Global Healthcare Assurance teams and local Assurance teams to execute such plans . Global Indian Accounts: Support the acquisition, management, and growth of global Indian accounts with work to be delivered in India and the rest of the world. Market Intelligence: Maintain knowledge of current industry updates and supply chain management best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Healthcare Assurance Director India, you will be a dynamic individual responsible for building and further developing Eurofins activities in India. This includes: Primary Responsibility: Develop relationships with Indian APIs manufacturers to promote Eurofins and organize shared audits of their manufacturing sites. Indian Business Development: Develop business plans and strategies to attract new customers with our Healthcare Assurance portfolio, primarily focusing on auditing and sales of reports from our Library , but also training and advisory/consulting services. Growth Driver: Drive new business growth and expand the existing client portfolio. Key API Manufacturers Management: Understand how Eurofins can best position itself for auditing manufacturing sites and propose additional Healthcare services (e.g., shared audit organization, unique contact for NDA, report and CAPA management, sale of reports to new clients). Key Account Management: Understand how Eurofins can best address client needs related to auditing, training, advisory/consulting, and other Eurofins services not currently utilized. Customer Service: Attract and grow Indian accounts, ensuring excellent customer service. Value Proposition: Gain a clear understanding of the business model, value proposition, and key growth targets for your area. Develop and fine-tune the value proposition with operations and delivery teams. Sales & Marketing: Develop sales and marketing presentations, tools, and materials to promote Healthcare Assurance services in Auditing, Certification, Training, and Advisory/Consulting . Cross-Selling: Liaise within and across Eurofins Business Lines to ensure cross-selling opportunities, especially with the BioPharma Testing Business Line. Industry Engagement: Continuously stay abreast of industry developments through events, networking, and industry associations. Represent Eurofins through active speaking opportunities and participation in industry events and discussions. New Service Development: Support the development of new services based on upcoming regulations and quasi-regulations in India and related countries, according to country and client input. Market Positioning: Proactively identify and execute any other activities that will enhance Eurofins position within the market. Strategic Alignment: Work with Country business line leaders and country managers to implement global and local business strategies where needed. Representation: Represent Eurofins Healthcare Assurance in the industry when required. Profitability & Cost Control: Drive profitable growth and cost control in areas of influence. Client Relationships: Enhance client relationships through professional support services and customer care. Thought Leadership: Drive thought leadership around Compliance and Integrity to increase Eurofins profile to customers, industry associations, and stakeholders. Product Development: Participate in new product development projects and the launch of new services. Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing resources as needed. Regulatory Compliance: Work as per regulatory requirements. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience (Basic Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business . At least 8 years experience in managing similar businesses and/or operations globally in Pharma or Chemicals for pharma environment . Additional Preferences Sales and Marketing Excellence . Local Business Experience . Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with leaders of Pharma or chemical industries for pharma in India. Demonstrated ability to lead businesses in relation to Healthcare Assurance services in a global environment. Demonstrated ability to function in a collaborative environment with knowledge and capabilities to secure appropriate support resources to achieve business goals. A proven track record of new business generation, account management, and development is highly desirable. Being results-oriented and driven to exceed objectives set for turnover, profitability, and service promotion is essential. Strong presentation and public speaking skills are a must. High proficiency and fluent in written and spoken English . Strong business sense, excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Out-of-the-box thinker, self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of working independently . Extensive travel is required, mostly in India and to a lesser degree in Asia. Abilities and Skills (Basic Minimum Qualifications) Appropriate knowledge to drive, support, and ensure business success. Ability to motivate and influence others to act in the appropriate business culture and environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact successfully with internal and external customers and develop communications and reports for upper management. Demonstrated ability with personal computer software in a business environment, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, Project Management, and resource planning software.
