The client you will be working with is focused on developing the next-generation platform for preschools, aiming to provide powerful tools for curriculum planning, classroom journaling, parent communication, and AI-driven insights. The primary mission is to assist educators in concentrating on teaching and nurturing children. The client has already gained the trust of progressive preschools in India and beyond, and is just at the beginning of their journey. As a Sales Manager / Director, you will play a crucial role in driving growth in both new and established markets. This exciting opportunity is tailored for individuals who excel at the intersection of education and technology, and are eager to witness their efforts directly contributing to enhanced learning experiences for children. Your responsibilities will include taking charge of the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, with a focus on meeting and surpassing revenue targets. Building strong relationships with preschool owners, chains, and educational networks to comprehend their requirements and position the client as the optimal solution will be key. You will need to articulate the client's value proposition convincingly to educators, school leaders, and investors within the education sector. Collaboration with the founders and marketing team to identify promising markets and formulate effective go-to-market strategies is also part of the role. Utilizing CRM and sales tools to monitor leads, enhance conversion rates, and oversee follow-ups will be essential. Additionally, representing the client at various events such as conferences, workshops, and school visits in India and abroad will be part of your duties. Gathering feedback from customers and sharing valuable insights with the product team to guide the product roadmap is also expected. Furthermore, mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the sales team and managing the sales department will be crucial. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess 4-8 years of sales experience, preferably in the education sector or selling to schools. A genuine passion for enhancing education and a strong belief in the transformative power of technology in learning are highly valued. Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing revenue targets, along with exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, is essential. You should be comfortable with consultative sales, capable of understanding client pain points, and adept at tailoring solutions to meet their needs. Proficiency in using CRMs and analytics tools to optimize the sales funnel is required. A willingness to travel extensively within India and occasionally overseas is also necessary. Desirable skills include having a network of contacts within the preschool or K12 education space, as well as experience in conducting webinars or workshops to deliver engaging content to groups. This is a full-time position with a remuneration structure of 60% fixed and 40% variable, emphasizing skills in sales, edtech, education, lead generation, and CRM.,
