Job Overview

The Sales Manager will lead efforts to promote and sell solar rooftop loan products. This includes identifying potential customers, managing field sales activities, and ensuring loan disbursement targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation and client acquisition: Source potential customers interested in solar rooftop installations through direct field visits and local networking.
  • Product promotion: Educate clients on the benefits of solar loans, including financial savings and environmental impact.
  • Loan processing coordination: Assist clients with documentation and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth loan approvals.
  • Sales strategy execution: Implement regional sales plans to meet monthly and quarterly loan targets.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with solar vendors, installation partners, and internal loan officers.
  • Market analysis: Monitor competitor activity and customer feedback to refine sales tactics.

Required Skills

  • Experience in solar or financial products: Prior exposure to solar rooftop systems, LAP (Loan Against Property), or BL (Business Loans) is preferred.
  • Strong field sales capability: Ability to source clients directly without relying on DSAs (Direct Selling Agents).
  • Local market knowledge: Familiarity with the assigned territory (e.g., Gurgaon, Ghaziabad) is essential.
  • Communication and persuasion: Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and close deals.

Qualifications

  • Education

    : Bachelors degree in any discipline.
  • Experience

    : 2–7 years in sales, preferably in solar, financial services, or renewable energy sectors.
