As a Travel Sales Executive, your role involves promoting and selling domestic and international holiday packages, such as Europe, Far East, Middle East, and Maldives tours. You will be responsible for generating leads through calls, social media platforms, and travel networks. Handling both B2C and B2B enquiries, providing quotations, and successfully closing sales are key aspects of your job. It is essential to meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets. Additionally, you will need to collaborate with operations and visa teams to ensure smooth service delivery and develop strong relationships with clients, sub-agents, and corporate accounts. Keeping yourself updated on destination trends, pricing, and competitor offerings is crucial. Participation in marketing and promotional campaigns may be required from time to time. Your qualifications for this role include being a graduate in any discipline, with a preference for a background in Travel & Tourism. You should have at least 2 years of experience in travel sales or tour operations and a proven track record in holiday package, visa, or ticketing sales. Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Malayalam are required, while knowledge of Hindi is considered an advantage. Being confident, target-driven, and customer-oriented is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office, email, and CRS tools. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also crucial.
