Sales Executive

Job Role of Dedicated Fragrance Salesperson (Maharashtra) :

• Acquire knowledge of the fragrance development process and develop the necessary vocabulary, while also becoming familiar with key market benchmarks.
• Understand the brief management process, including the relevant questions to ask clients and how to translate their needs into fragrance specifications.
• Work alongside the gallery team and utilize the library to choose the appropriate fragrances for clients.
• Develop a collection/library of 30-50 products that cater to market demands.
• Promote & Sample fragrance oils from this collection according to customer requirements.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients.
• Evaluate customer needs and suggest suitable fragrances from the collection.
• Identify new business opportunities and investigate potential markets, including preparing market potential mapping.
• Inform customers about the advantages and uses of the products.
• Analyse market trends and customer feedback to anticipate sales.
• Respond quickly to customer complaints and concerns.
• Provide details of daily visits and plans for the upcoming months in the specified format.
• Attend Monthly and Quarterly Review meetings.

Prerequisites for the Salesperson Role:

• A university degree with at least 2-4 years of experience in a fragrance B2B or B2C business environment, particularly in the detergent, personal care, and deodorants industries, is preferred.
• Experience in developing business through channel sales is essential.
• Experience working with small and medium manufacturers is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while being attentive to each client’s needs.
• Experience in coordinating teams and meeting deadlines.
• Fluency in the local language.
• A good team player who shows initiative.
• Previous experience in the fragrance industry will be a significant advantage.
