About Us

Champak is a well-loved children’s magazine in India, known for its captivating stories, colorful illustrations, and educational content. Champak also offers a range of books that further encourage reading and learning, featuring story collections, activity books, and educational materials. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to promote and sell Champak books and subscriptions in schools across Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities

School Engagement:

Visit schools within your assigned location to introduce Champak magazine and books to educators and school administrators.

Sales Targets:

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by promoting Champak book subscriptions sales to schools.

Presentations & Demonstrations:

Conduct engaging presentations for teachers, parents, and students, highlighting the educational benefits of Champak books.

Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with school authorities, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Operations Oversight:

Ensure seamless execution of subscription processing, invoicing, and delivery.

Market Research:

Gather feedback from schools and conduct research to identify potential school partners and understand market needs.

Promotional Activities:

Organize and participate in school events, book fairs, and reading programs to promote Champak.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets.

Requirements

Experience:

Previous experience in sales, especially in educational products or publishing, is preferred. MBA freshers are also welcome to apply.

Educational Qualification

: MBA in marketing

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

Presentation Skills:

Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to groups of students, teachers, and parents.

Customer Service:

A customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.

Self-Motivation:

Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet sales targets.
