Job Title: Jewellery Sales Staff

Reports To: Showroom Head

Job Summary:

The Jewellery Sales Staff is responsible for assisting customers in choosing jewellery items, providing excellent service, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while maintaining the store’s professional image and product display standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

• Welcome and assist customers in selecting jewellery according to their preferences and budget.
• Provide accurate information about jewellery pieces, including materials, designs, and care instructions.
• Promote and upsell products to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints courteously and efficiently.

Store Maintenance & Operations:

• Ensure jewellery displays are clean, attractive, and well-organized.
• Follow all security and handling procedures for high-value items.
• Assist in daily stock management, including receiving, tagging, and arranging products.
• Operate billing systems accurately and maintain transaction records.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits.
• Support customer loyalty programs and maintain customer contact records for follow-up.

Teamwork & Professional Conduct:

• Work collaboratively with other staff to achieve overall store goals.
• Maintain professional grooming and adhere to company dress code standards.
• Participate in product and sales training sessions.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education: Plus Two (Higher Secondary) or above.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome; prior experience in retail, jewellery, or customer service is an added advantage.
• Skills:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality with a customer-focused attitude.
• Basic knowledge of sales techniques.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic computer skills (POS operation, billing, etc.).

Work Environment:

• Retail showroom setting.
• Requires standing for long periods.
• Flexible to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹40,847.94 per month
