Sales Engineer Specialist

Role Overview: Hitachi Energy is seeking a Sales Engineer Specialist for the High Voltage Business to join their team in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. As a Sales Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for focusing on Pretender activities, bid preparation, technical support to customers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare timely and comprehensive pre-bid documentation & presentations. - Determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. - Improve customer satisfaction through Value Based selling and bid process support. - Standardize bids and proposals while developing competence. - Collaborate with the Tendering Competency Center (TCC) team to offer solutions to country/region-specific customers. - Work closely with the product group HUB Marketing & Sales Managers to cater to the global market. - Ensure all proposals adhere to Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines. - Be accountable for technical expertise and accuracy of deliverables. - Propose innovative solutions to increase sales volume. - Engage with customers to understand their needs and influence their buying criteria. - Prepare alternate solutions for AIS to GIS, Hybrid conversion. - Demonstrate knowledge of the Power Grid Market & Hitachi Energy product & system offerings. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. - 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in Substations. - Technical or commercial background at the university level or equivalent. - Experience in a multicultural environment is a plus. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language.,
