Sales Consultant / Fashion Merchandiser (Custom Couture & Bridal Wear)

About the Role:

We are looking for a design-educated sales professional who can confidently consult premium clients, understand custom design requirements, and convert enquiries into high-value orders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fashion, client interaction, and ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities: Fashion Consultation & Sales

• Handle inbound calls, enquiries & walk-in clients
• Understand client requirements, body type, occasion & budget
• Present design options, fabrics, fits & styling suggestions
• Create design direction aligned with the brand aesthetic
• Share estimates and close orders confidently

Order Processing & Coordination

• Prepare and maintain Sales Order Forms
• Register orders accurately in the system
• Handover projects to production with clear instructions
• Ensure special notes, fittings & deadlines are communicated

Customer Experience & Support

• Manage client queries, revisions & expectation changes
• Coordinate with production for smooth execution
• Follow up for payments and ensure clearance before delivery
• Schedule fittings and final deliveries
• Resolve concerns and ensure client satisfaction

Store Operations

• Opening & closing of the store
• Smooth billing operations
• Maintain store hygiene, display & stock availability

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Garment Technology
• 2–6 years experience in custom wear / bridal / ethnic fashion sales
• Strong communication & client-handling skills
• Passion for fashion, styling & luxury service
