Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct safety training sessions and orientations for new and existing employees, educating them on proper equipment handling and emergency procedures.
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace, carry out risk assessments, and recommend preventive measures to minimize risks.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses, prepare detailed accident reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring that all safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and alarms are functional and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and health and safety officers to ensure compliance with local safety laws and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate safety records, including inspection reports, incident documentation, training logs, and safety meeting records.
- Promote a safety culture within the organization by encouraging employees to report hazards and actively participate in safety initiatives, leading by example in prioritizing safety.
*Qualifications Required:**
- Proven experience in a similar safety compliance role.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment techniques.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to conduct training sessions and collaborate with different stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend necessary actions to improve safety measures.
- Certification in occupational health and safety or related field is a plus.
