Job Description

Education:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Certification in EHS, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety standards required

Experience:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in EHS regulations, hazard identification, risk assessments, & incident investigations
Monitoring statutory compliance with safety regulations & strong understanding of emergency response planning if any as per site requirements

Soft Skills

Strong observation and attention to detail
Excellent communication and training skills
Proactive problem-solving approach

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments. Develop safety management plans
Train teams in safety protocols, safety awareness, emergency responses, and safe practices & implementation of good practices
Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational safety requirements, review/prepare method statements
Ensure induction, tool-box and trainings, mock drills, calibrations, statutory requirements , ccompliance to audits , NCRS, UA/UC (Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition), etc escalations if not resolved
Participation in Cross-Functional Audits, maintaining documentation in one drive, etc

Specific Experience:

Expertise in designing and conducting safety awareness programs
Demonstrated success in implementing EHS programs and reducing incidents
