Safety Officer

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce company safety policies and legal regulations to ensure compliance with local and national laws.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits on-site.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Organize safety training programs and toolbox talks for staff and workers.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, permits, and records.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure safe work practices.
• Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Promote awareness of safety standards and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent safety certification (mandatory).
• 1+ years of experience as a Safety Officer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
