· Ensure that the garment manufacturing facility complies with all local, state, and national safety regulations and standards.
· Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
· Develop and conduct safety training programs for all employees, including new hires and existing staff.
· Lead investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.
· Ensure the availability, maintenance, and proper use of safety equipment and personal protective gear, such as helmets, gloves, masks, and safety goggles.
· Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first-aid stations, and fire drills.
· Maintain accurate records related to safety inspections, incidents, training, and safety equipment inventory.
· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety practices and recommend changes to policies and procedures to enhance safety.
