Safety Officer

Primary Reponsibilities:

1. Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards associated with the ammonia-based refrigeration system, machinery, equipment, and processes.

2. Develop and Implement Safety Procedures: Create and enforce safety protocols for working with ammonia, including handling, storage, and emergency response procedures.

3. Provide Training and Awareness: Educate employees on safety procedures, emergency response plans, and the risks associated with ammonia exposure.

4. Monitor and Enforce Compliance: Ensure that all employees, contractors, and visitors follow safety procedures and regulations.

5. Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

1. Maintain Safety Records: Keep accurate records of safety training, incidents, near misses, and compliance inspections.

2. Conduct Regular Safety Audits: Perform regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
