Job Description

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local laws and regulations. Your primary focus will be to ensure the highest safety standards are met to provide a healthy work environment for staff, visitors, and vendors. Staying updated on safety regulations, codes, and industry standards is crucial to your role. In the event of emergencies, you will support preparedness and response efforts by creating evacuation plans and procedures. Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-miss events will be part of your responsibilities to identify root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to promote safety initiatives and integrate safety practices into daily operations. Maintaining accurate safety records and documentation is key to your role as you will need to document all safety-related activities. With at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, you are expected to work full-time during day and morning shifts at the designated in-person work location.
