Position- Safety Officer

Experience: 1 yr to 4yrs

Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree with experience in relevant field OR

Equivalent & Satisfactory work experience in relevant field.

Location: MIDC Bhosari, Pune

Job Description:

• Ensure that proper measures are taken for the safety of the people at sites.

• Conduct Daily toolbox Meeting

• Conduct Induction Training for new Employees

• Involved in developing the safety programs and implementing them in order to ensure safety at work.

• Conduct Site safety meeting

• Conduct risk assessment

• Site inspection, accident incident investigation

• Prepare safety plans and implement the same for safety purpose.

• To assess the risk factor while working with different materials and prepare safety plans accordingly.

• Attend Client safety meetings

• Maintain safety performance data

• To look for ways to avoid any kind of accidents while performing work.

• Train labour for avoiding hazards and accidents while at work

• Safety Officer also needs to ensure the safety and security of the people employed at fabrication yard dealing with the manufacturing of the material.

• Handling emergency situations at sites and also impart the same to the workers.

• Ensure that the equipment’s and material being used are of good quality and do not cause any harm.

Desired profile of the candidate:

-Good Knowledge of Excel and Word (MS Office)

-Good Communication. Shall able to explain / justify/ Training of Safety to the client.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
