Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Documentation: Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, safety checklists, and audit findings. PPE Monitoring: Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans for site-specific risks. Communication: Regularly communicate safety expectations and updates to the project team and management. Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and national safety regulations and standards. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve safety processes and reduce workplace hazards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Safety Officer in road construction or a similar role.
