Safety Head

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Program Development:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies.
• Ensure all safety programs align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Ensure Safe Environment practices inside the plant.

2. Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.

3. Risk Assessment and Management:

• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and incidents.

4. Training and Education:

• Design and deliver safety training programs for all plant personnel.
• Ensure employees are aware of safety policies and procedures and are trained to respond to emergencies.

5. Incident Investigation:

• Lead investigations of workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

6. Safety Culture Promotion:

• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the plant.
• Encourage employee involvement in safety programs and initiatives.

7. Emergency Preparedness:

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
• Coordinate regular drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

8. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on safety performance and initiatives.

9. Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage the safety team, providing guidance and support.
• Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to safety management.
