Safety Engineer

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your duties will include conducting regular risk assessments and hazard analyses on site, as well as recommending corrective measures. Inspecting equipment, materials, and work environments to identify potential safety risks will also be a crucial part of your role. Monitoring compliance with safety protocols and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers will be essential to maintain a safe work environment. Additionally, you will be required to investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
