Job Description

Role: S4 HANA ABAP Developer

Experience: 6-8yrs

Notice period: Only 15-30days

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

We are seeking an experienced S/4 HANA ABAP Developer to join our SAP team. Will have strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom solutions in SAP S/4 HANA environments. The role requires proficiency in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData services, AMDP, and Fiori/UI5 integration, with the ability to collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms in S/4 HANA.
Develop and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and OData services for integration with Fiori/UI5 applications.
Work on RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects.
Debug and resolve issues in custom ABAP programs and provide root cause analysis.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Perform code optimization and leverage HANA performance techniques (pushdown, SQL scripting, etc.).
Support integration with third-party systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
Ensure adherence to SAP development best practices and coding standards.
Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT support.
Provide technical documentation for all developments and enhancements.
Work in Agile/DevOps methodologies with version control (Git), transport management, and continuous improvement mindset.
