Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Russian Translator at Amrita Hospital, located in Faridabad. The translator will be responsible for accurately translating medical documents, patient information, and communication between Russian-speaking patients and healthcare professionals. Daily tasks also include interpretation during consultations, providing clear and effective translations, and ensuring cultural sensitivity and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Russian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Experience in medical translation and interpretation, ensuring accuracy and clarity
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of cultural nuances and sensitivity in handling patient information
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
