Job Description

About the Role:

Ruby on Rails Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Develop and maintain APIs and services for web and mobile applications.
Optimize application for performance and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–3 years of professional experience with
Ruby on Rails
.
Good understanding of
MVC architecture
and
RESTful APIs
.
Proficiency in
React.js
is strongly required.
Experience with background job processing tools like
Sidekiq
, and understanding of worker-based systems
Proficient in
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
, and related front-end technologies.
Experience with
PostgreSQL / MySQL
or similar relational databases.
Familiarity with
Git
version control and code collaboration workflows.
Understanding of
background jobs
using Sidekiq or similar tools.
Experience with
RSpec / MiniTest
for writing test cases.
Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
