We are looking for a skilled RTOC Engineer D&C to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of experience in Drilling Operations, Well Planning and Engineering, or Well Completions.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform shift duties to support 24x7 operation of RTOC.
Report anomalies and interventions to concerned teams within the least possible time.
Provide decision support to the drilling team to improve drilling performance by monitoring mud logging and MWD/LWD data in real-time at RTOC.
Prepare daily RTOC reports, end-of-well reports, and event analysis and management reports.
Manage real-time drilling data and reports.
Prepare various drilling models (predrill models) to support rig operations.
Monitor and interpret LWD log parameters like resistivity, gamma ray, density, and porosity.
Update rig operations through SMS to the drilling team and senior management, capturing lessons learned and recommending best practices.

Job Requirements

Good understanding of deep-water operations and interpretation of real-time drilling and completion data.
Ability to identify and communicate abnormalities/deviations from plan.
Effective communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly.
Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Engineering/Geology.
Experience in real-time data monitoring and optimization.
Knowledge of well testing principles and practices.
Familiarity with CBM parameters.
Proficiency in reservoir simulation techniques.
Computer skills.
Analytical skills.
Strong mathematical background.
Software proficiency.
Simulator usage.
