Position Title : RPA Developer Reporting To : Lead Platform and Technology Solutions Location : Bangalore Role & responsibilities 1. RPA Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement robotic process automation solutions to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency. Utilize RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism to create software robots that interact with digital systems, websites, and applications. 2. Process Analysis and Automation Opportunity Identification: Analyze business processes and workflows to identify automation opportunities and potential areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define automation goals, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact. 3. Bot Deployment and Maintenance: Deploy RPA bots into production environments and ensure their smooth operation and performance. Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize bot efficiency and reliability. 4. Integration with ESG Data and Systems: Integrate RPA solutions with ESG data sources, platforms, and systems to automate data collection, validation, and reporting processes. Develop connectors and APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between RPA bots and ESG applications. 5. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security policies, and ESG reporting standards throughout the RPA development lifecycle. Implement security controls and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive information handled by RPA bots. Required Technical Skills and Competencies 1. Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Proficiency in RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying RPA solutions to automate business processes. 2. Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, Python, or VBScript for RPA development. Ability to write scripts and code snippets to extend the functionality of RPA bots and perform advanced automation tasks. 3. Process Analysis and Documentation: Experience in process analysis, documentation, and optimization using tools such as Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart. Ability to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation within business processes. 4. Integration and API Development: Knowledge of integration techniques and API development for connecting RPA bots with external systems, databases, and web services. Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats. 5. Database Management and SQL: Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases. Experience working with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and writing SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. 6. Version Control and Deployment: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing RPA code repositories and tracking changes. Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices for automating bot deployment and release management.
