You will be responsible for ensuring efficient check-in/check-out procedures, handling guest issues, coordinating with other departments, and upholding high standards of hospitality and customer service. Your key responsibilities will include supervising the front desk team to guarantee smooth and professional operations, monitoring guest check-in and check-out procedures, and promptly addressing any service gaps or guest complaints to maintain satisfaction. You will also support the training and development of front office staff, maintain knowledge of room availability, special promotions, and hotel services, and coordinate room assignments with housekeeping and maintenance teams. Additionally, you will oversee shift scheduling, staff assignments, and performance tracking, ensuring compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and service protocols, and preparing reports related to room occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback. In the absence of the Front Office Manager, you will act as the acting manager. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field, possess strong customer service and problem-solving skills, excel in communication and interpersonal abilities, and demonstrate the capability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
