Robotics and Electronics R&D Engineer

Experience: 2-3 years

Work Timings: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm

Work Days: Monday to Saturday (two Saturdays off in a month, after probation)

ABOUT THE ROLE-

Aviotron Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. is India’s leading K–12 experiential Ed-tech company building industrial-grade STEAM skill labs and hands-on learning kits. We are seeking a talented Robotics & Electronics R&D Engineer who will design, innovate, enhance and scale robotics and electronics-based products for our AeroBay school labs and D2C products. This is a core engineering role with strong learning exposure - your work will shape learning kits used by lakhs of students across India.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-

· Design and develop new robotics and electronics kits, aligned with K–12 learning standards.

· Prototype mechanical, electrical and embedded system designs from concept to pilot to production stage.

· Improve existing products and lab machinery in terms of efficiency, quality, durability and user experience.

· Revamp electronics layouts, replace obsolete parts, optimize power usage and enhance mechanical performance.

· Conduct training sessions for new trainees and other technical associates.

· Provide technical backend support during school events, competitions, workshops, exhibitions and lab setups.

REQUIREMENTS-

· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Mechanical / Electronics / Robotics is mandatory.

· 2-3 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, electronics design, robotics, sensors, microcontrollers, motors, actuators and power systems.

· Hands-on experience with Arduino / ESP / Raspberry Pi.

· Strong understanding of AI fundamentals are a must, automation and intelligent systems for future-ready product vision also needed.

· Proficiency in prototyping, design iteration and integrating electronics with mechanical components.

· Knowledge of design software like CAD is a plus point.

· Ability to train and mentor new trainees clearly and confidently.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment.
