Robotic Welding Operator

We are looking for a skilled Welding Operator to perform robotic, TIG, MIG, and SAW welding operations in our fabrication unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating and setting up welding machines, interpreting engineering drawings and WPS, and ensuring high-quality welds that meet production and safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of welding processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic, TIG, MIG, and SAW welding machines as per production requirements.
• Set up welding machines, select appropriate parameters, and ensure smooth welding operations.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, process sheets, and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) accurately.
• Inspect welds and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain welding tools, fixtures, and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of experience in robotic, TIG, MIG, or SAW welding operations within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and parameter settings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Willingness to relocate to Kanchipuram.
