Job Description

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer

Key Responsibilities

RPA Solution Design & Development:
Identify and analyze business processes suitable for automation using
Blue Prism
.
Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable
RPA processes and objects
using the Blue Prism platform.
Create detailed
Process Definition Documents (PDDs)
and
Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
.
Implement exception handling, error logging, and recovery mechanisms within RPA solutions.
Bot Management & Optimization:
Configure and manage
Control Room operations
, including scheduling, monitoring, and managing digital workers.
Perform
performance tuning
of processes and optimize existing automations for efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during process execution or development.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate automated solutions.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure and compliant RPA deployments.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed processes.
Train business users on new automated processes and bot functionalities.
Best Practices & Governance:
Adhere to
RPA development best practices
, coding standards, and governance frameworks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our RPA capabilities and methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an
RPA Developer
with significant hands-on experience in
Blue Prism
.
Strong understanding of the
RPA lifecycle
and process automation concepts.
Proficiency in designing and implementing automations for various applications (web, desktop, legacy systems).
Experience with
Control Room administration
and process deployment.
Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
.
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Blue Prism Developer Certification
or similar certifications.
Experience with other RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBScript) or programming languages (e.g., C#, Java) for advanced automation.
Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
Experience in an Agile development environment.
