About the Role

Robotics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test robotic systems including hardware, actuators, sensors, and control systems.
  
• Program robots using languages such as

  C++, Python, ROS (Robot Operating System)

  , or similar frameworks.
• Develop algorithms for

  motion planning, navigation, perception, and control

  .
• Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU, ultrasonic) and actuators to enable autonomous or semi-autonomous robot behavior.
  
• Work on robot simulation tools (Gazebo, V-REP, Webots) to validate designs before deployment.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, AI/ML) to deliver end-to-end robotics solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain robotic systems in lab and field environments.
  
• Document designs, test plans, and procedures for reproducibility and regulatory compliance.
  
• Stay updated on emerging trends in robotics, AI, and automation technologies.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in

  Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechatronics

  .
• 2–8 years of experience in robotics design, development, or automation projects.
  
• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  ,

  C/C++

  , and experience with

  ROS/ROS2

  .
• Knowledge of

  robot kinematics, dynamics, and control systems

  .
• Hands-on experience with sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU) and actuators (motors, servos).
  
• Familiarity with

  robot simulation and CAD tools

  (SolidWorks, Gazebo, V-REP).
• Understanding of

  computer vision, SLAM, or AI/ML integration

  in robotics.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32), and real-time systems.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with

  industrial robotics

  (ABB, KUKA, FANUC) and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of

  ROS2, MoveIt, OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

  .
• Familiarity with

  autonomous navigation, path planning, or multi-robot systems

  .
• Exposure to

  IoT integration, wireless communication, or cloud robotics

  .
• Publications or contributions to

  robotics research or open-source projects
