Job Summary

A Clinical Assistant provides support to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. They assist with clinical procedures, documentation, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• To assist in examining and treating patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures, tests, or surgeries.
• To monitor vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, temperature).
• Provide basic first aid and wound care under supervision.
• To assist to consultant in invasive procedures; Aware Management; Support dressing changes, catheterization, and IV cannulation (if trained).
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control measures.
• Assist in filling out forms, consent documents, and discharge summaries.
• Provide patients and families with basic healthcare instructions.
• To follow up with all the investigations to be done and trace their results. Note down investigation results in the investigation sheet. Inform the Residence Medical Officer / registrar.

1. ICU patient care , should know central line and intubation.
