R&M RE Technician

As an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician in the Production Engineering Upstream department for the Rosmari and Marjoram Onshore Gas Plant (OGP) in Sarawak, your role involves ensuring the safe production of hydrocarbons within the operating envelope, meeting business targets, and complying with regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Minimum of 6 years of relevant Rotating Equipment/Mechanical technical experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Facilities, Sour Gas Plants, or Integrated Refinery/Petrochemical plants. - Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia communication/writing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. - Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. **Qualifications Required:** - BTEC Certification or equivalent qualification. - Technical/Engineering Diploma or Degree with CGPA > 2.5. - Experience in Sour Gas Plants. - Preference for Sarawakian/Sabahan or PR. **Additional Company Details:** You will be initially based at the project's current location and later moved to Bintulu R&M OGP Office for Commissioning, Start Up, and Operations support. The R&M OGP produces 800 MMscf/d of Gas and 17kboe/d of NGL, with high Annual Operating Expenditure (OPEX). The project is located approximately 220km off the coast of Bintulu and includes offshore platforms, onshore gas plants, and renewable energy sources like solar and hydroelectric power. **Accountabilities:** - Ensuring compliance with R&M OGP HSSE Management System. - Executing preventive and corrective maintenance for rotating equipment, valves, static equipment, tanks, etc. - Leading troubleshooting and improvement processes for equipment. - Collaborating with Team Leads, Engineers, and Vendors for commissioning and operations. - Driving availability, reliability, and productivity within your area of accountability. - Coaching junior staff and ensuring safe production practices. **Key Interfaces:** - Project Engineers, ORA & CSU Team, Discipline Engineers, Construction Team, HSSE Team, and other internal stakeholders.
