Experience Required (Strict):

* 4+ years of professional Python development

* 3+ years of strong, hands-on experience with FastAPI

* Proven experience with REST APIs, async programming, and API lifecycle management

Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, version control, design patterns).

Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus.

Good to have : Exposure to Reinforcement Learning environments (OpenAI Gym, Gymnasium, Stable Baselines, or custom environments) & SQL experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced Python Backend Developers with strong FastAPI expertise to support an exciting Reinforcement Learning (RL) Gym project. You will build scalable APIs and backend services to support RL experiments and simulations. Prior RL experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and maintain FastAPI-based backend services

* Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers on training and evaluation APIs

* Write scalable, production-grade Python code

* Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize backend pipelines

Commitment & Working Hours:

8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
