Role Overview

Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Credit Risk Analysis:

Evaluate personal loan applications using internal scorecards, credit bureau data, and risk models.
Identify high-risk segments and recommend mitigation strategies.

Portfolio Monitoring & Analytics:

Track portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and early warning indicators.
Conduct vintage analysis, stress testing, and scenario modeling.

Policy & Process Development:

Assist in designing and updating credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk frameworks.
Ensure alignment with RBI regulations and internal compliance standards.

Risk Modeling & Data Insights:

Work with analytics teams to enhance risk models and predictive tools.
Leverage data-driven insights for decision-making and portfolio optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with business, product, collections, and Credit teams to implement risk strategies.
Provide risk inputs for new product launches and pricing decisions.

Required Qualifications

Education:
CA/Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
Experience:

5 - 8 years of experience in
credit risk management
for personal loans in NBFCs or Banks.
Hands-on exposure to
scorecards, bureau data, and risk analytics tools
.

Skills:

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and risk modeling software (SAS/R/Python preferred).
Knowledge of RBI guidelines and regulatory compliance for retail lending.
