The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based operating systems in an enterprise environment. The role involves maintaining system performance, security, and availability, as well as providing expert support for infrastructure and application environments. Key Responsibilities: Linux OS Management : Install, configure, and maintain various Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu) on physical and virtual machines. Perform OS upgrades, patches, and security updates to ensure systems are up-to-date and compliant. Ensure high availability and performance of Linux systems by performing regular tuning and optimization. Minimum of 5+ years of experience administering Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu). Experience with system installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance in production environments. Hands-on experience with system patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
