Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist

You will be joining Firstsource Solutions, a leading provider of customized Business Process Management (BPM) services. As a Senior CSA, your key responsibilities will include: - Filing claims using all appropriate forms and attachments. - Researching account denials and filing written appeals when necessary. - Evaluating client information to determine the correct insurance to bill and obtaining necessary attachments for each claim. - Ensuring the integrity of each billed claim. - Documenting all efforts in detail in the CUBS system and other relevant computer systems. - Verifying patient information and benefits. - Appealing accounts in writing. - Drafting letters to clients. Additional duties may include: - Meeting specified goals and objectives set by management regularly. - Maintaining confidentiality of account information. - Participating in the Corporate Compliance Program actively. - Assisting with other assigned projects. - Building and maintaining good working relationships with state and Federal agencies. - Resolving accounts promptly. - Maintaining a neat and organized work station. To excel in this role, we recommend the following qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - 1-3 years of experience in insurance billing is preferred. - Proficient PC knowledge and typing speed of 30-40 wpm. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy work environment. - Strong organization and time management skills. - Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions. - Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
