Revenue Assurance Analyst

As a Data Analyst in this role, you will be responsible for: - Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data, market trends, and competitive information to provide actionable insights. - Creating detailed financial reports and forecasts for management. - Developing revenue forecasts, assisting in budget creation, and setting realistic revenue goals. - Tracking revenue performance against targets and identifying variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement. - Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning. - Identifying inefficiencies in revenue streams and recommending innovative processes and strategies to enhance customer experience, team efficiency, and revenue outcomes. - Ensuring that all revenue is recognized in accordance with company and regulatory (e.g., SEC) standards. - Working with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of revenue-generating strategies. The ideal candidate for this role should have: - Around 5 years of experience in data analysis. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and perform critical analysis. - A solid understanding of financial principles, accounting, and revenue recognition standards. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate complex data into clear, persuasive insights for diverse stakeholders. - A meticulous approach to data and financial accuracy. - The ability to connect data to strategic business objectives. - Comfort with analytical tools, software, and possibly large datasets. - A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or statistics.
