Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Retina Consultant to join our Retina Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic and surgical expertise in managing retinal disorders and a commitment to delivering comprehensive and empathetic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, etc.
• Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, intravitreal injections, and retinal laser treatments.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools like OCT, FFA, B-scan, and fundus photography for clinical evaluations.
• Collaborate with general ophthalmologists and sub-specialists for holistic patient management.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of clinical cases and patient records.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and ongoing medical education programs.
• Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and post-operative follow-up.

Qualifications:

• MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship in Medical and/or Surgical Retina from a recognized institute
• Valid medical license (as per local/state regulatory requirements)

• Excellent communication and patient Counseling abilities
• Team-oriented approach and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-specialty setting
