Retail Supervisor

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to join our team at the Nisa stores located at the University of York. As a Retail Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient retail service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience. Working collaboratively with a team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store. Your duties will include organizing the work of Retail Assistants, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and health and safety regulations, managing stock levels, and maintaining the security of cash in the store. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have previous experience in the retail sector, and be capable of supervising a small team effectively. The position is offered on a full-time basis, with 22.50 hours per week for 33 weeks per year. Flexibility is essential as the role may require working evenings, weekends, and/or bank holidays as part of the standard working hours. York Commercial Ltd.
