As an Eyewear Counselor at our company, your primary role will be to assist customers in selecting the right eyewear based on their vision needs, prescription, face shape, lifestyle, and personal preferences. Your duties will involve combining customer service, product knowledge, and basic optical support to ensure each client leaves with eyewear that is functional, fashionable, and comfortable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Guide customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, usage, and style. - Provide expert advice on lens options such as anti-reflective, blue light filter, progressive, photochromic, etc. - Accurately interpret and explain eyeglass prescriptions. - Ensure proper fit of frames; make minor frame adjustments for comfort and alignment. - Manage sales transactions and maintain accurate customer records. - Upsell premium lenses, accessories, and warranty packages. - Coordinate with optometrists, optical labs, and suppliers for timely order fulfillment. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom and product displays. - Stay updated on the latest eyewear trends and optical technologies. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Prior experience in optical sales or customer service (preferred) - Knowledge of optical products and lenses (preferred) - Training in optics or a certification in optical dispensing (a plus, not always required) In this role, you will also be responsible for customer interaction, product guidance, sales and upselling, fitting and adjustments, collaboration with optometrists, administrative tasks such as handling billing and maintaining inventory. As an Eyewear Counselor, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, have a good sense of style and fashion awareness, a basic understanding of optical terms and prescriptions, sales and customer service orientation, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail or clinical environment. This is a full-time position located in All Odisha with a negotiable salary range of 9k to 11k. You will also be entitled to Provident Fund benefits.,
