The role of Cluster Optometrist at Lenskart revolves around a combination of a perfect blend of optometry and optical retail. You will play a pivotal role in upskilling the front end retail staff on the professional optometry grounds. Your responsibility is to deliver the best customer experience by leading by example in driving the key business metrics with your optometric approach. Your key deliverable in business includes maintenance of eye test quality and dispensing standards throughout as per Lenskart norms. You will be required to visit assigned stores in Lenskart uniform and manage the complete Technical and Functional part of Lenskart stores. Acting as a Mentor and Coach to Fresher Optometrists, you will help them with Sales Pitch, Technical Dispensing Guidance, Troubleshooting, Customer Query Handling, among other responsibilities. Additionally, you must also work as a store optometrist during busy hours, high sale days, or to cover shifts of those who are on leave. This includes checking eye tests, QC drawers, Wooqer entries, CL expiry, merchandise, Instrument calibration, KMT products, and more. Your role will also include ensuring that the Store NPS is achieved by training, troubleshooting, tracking detractors, and leading by example. Welcoming new talent from the market, conducting interviews, and onboarding, as well as preparing and conducting meetings with respective AOMs to discuss reviews, performance, or proposals are part of your responsibilities. For new staff, you will undertake regular reviews, analyze SOPs such as eye tests, quality checks, dispensing, contact lenses, troubleshooting, and deliver to measure the impact of training on store performance. Identifying and Training the Store staff to help them achieve their goals will also be crucial. Periodically auditing eye test and dispensing performance, wearing multiple hats of Team leader, Bench, Senior, Consultant Optometrist to support the store team, and maximizing In-Store Revenue through Optometrists are part of your duties. Working as a member of the Business Team to accomplish goals and objectives, participating in regional, departmental, executive, and operational meetings as appropriate, and maintaining documentation while reporting daily to PS regional manager on store visit summary are essential aspects of this role. The working hours will be the same as the store shift and as per business needs. You must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays to support store business. Minimum qualification required is a Diploma in Optometry with a minimum of 3 years of retail experience and a good track record. Good knowledge in Optometry, Refraction, Eye Wear Products, Dispensing, and Measurements is necessary. You must be ready to travel anywhere in India as per Business requirements and be passionate about Sales, Retail, Customer service, and Training. Having a good understanding of market and product analysis, along with leadership qualities such as leading by example, coaching, motivating, great communication, and a never give up attitude are important attributes for this role.
