Retail Sales & Operations Specialist (D2C)

As a Retail Sales & Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) retail business. Your role will involve handling day-to-day retail operations, ensuring seamless customer experience, managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and driving sales through data-driven insights and on-ground execution. - Drive retail sales through effective store planning, merchandising, and promotions to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for D2C channels (own brand stores, kiosks, and marketplaces if applicable). - Track and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities to improve. - Ensure excellent customer service standards across all retail touchpoints, handle escalated customer queries or complaints, and collect and act on customer feedback to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. - Maintain optimal stock levels by coordinating with the supply chain and warehouse teams, monitor and manage product expiry, damage, and return processes, and ensure store cleanliness, display standards, and compliance with SOPs. - Supervise in-store sales staff, conduct periodic training sessions to improve team performance and motivation. - Collaborate with marketing for retail campaigns, sampling drives, and promotional activities, coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment, and support online D2C efforts where required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field. - 2-4 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in FMCG, food, or organic product sectors. - Experience with D2C retail formats (brand stores, kiosks, exhibitions) is a plus. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, you may be required to commute or relocate to Jodhpur, Rajasthan for this full-time role with day shift schedule. Performance bonuses and yearly bonuses are part of the compensation package. Experience in D2C brand scaling for at least 2 years is preferred.
